Our Impact

For more than a decade, we have listened to survivors, closely analyzed our data, and studied national trends to understand how best to support survivors of sexual violence.

Since our founding in 2010, we have served over 10,000 clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

DARCC is the only independent, comprehensive rape crisis center in Dallas County and provides critical services to communities across the region. Our commitment extends beyond just providing support, we strive to educate and foster understanding within our communities in order to achieve our vision of a world free from sexual violence.

Last year, the Greater Dallas Area received reports of over 7,000 cases of sexual assault.

DARCC served survivors from every community, across the age and identity spectrum.

The people who access our services are our family members, partners, and friends.

Survivor Story: Elizabeth

At DARCC, we are here for you, providing a compassionate space for healing and growth.

Your story matters and we can help you navigate the journey towards strength and renewal.

DARCC Collectives

In 2023, the Collectives expanded significantly, engaging 186 community partners and reaching over 41,534 individuals across North Texas.

In September 2023, DARCC Young Professionals hosted their first Pups, Poses, & Professionals at Celestial Beerworks. Sponsored by Rescue Puppy Yoga, the event combined yoga, puppies, and philanthropy to support survivors of sexual violence.

We Built Strong Partnerships

In 2023, we proudly launched a partnership with Baylor University Medical Center to provide comprehensive legal advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault.

Through this program, expert advocates offer vital support—including legal guidance, court accompaniment, case management, and crisis intervention—ensuring survivors never face these challenges alone.

With BUMC’s central role in the community, this partnership allows us to reach individuals facing barriers such as mental health struggles, homelessness, and substance use, ensuring no survivor is left behind.

2023 was no different—It was a year of growth, innovation, and challenges.

Last year, we supported 1,500 survivors of sexual violence as they healed and thrived. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and partners, our work continues.

We move forward with hope amplifying survivors’ voices and advocating for systematic change.

  • The healing process isn’t quick, nor is it easy. On the first day of counseling, I arrived...not knowing how I would survive this. One of my first thoughts was ‘How can DARCC help my family and myself heal?’

I am here to tell you that they were a they were a huge support.

  • When I was taken to the hospital, a young lady introduced herself as a DARCC advocate. She stayed with me through the chaos.

My rapist showed the inhumanity of the world through his actions, but my DARCC advocate was able to shine some light on a dark moment.

  • I am so grateful to have had my counselor with me on my healing journey. I can enjoy the holidays again! During the times when I felt like I couldn’t handle the pain or when negative thoughts clouded my vision, she made a huge impact on my life, and I am forever thankful.

Thank you for showing me that there is, indeed, light at the end of the tunnel.

Our Financial Reports

None of this is possible without the incredible generosity of our supporters and donors.
