We are delighted to announce our next Lunch and Learn will be facilitated by talented students from the SMU Dedman School of Law: Shriya Senguttuvan, Hannah Gruber, and Alexis Brashears.
As part of their enrollment in the Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women, they've partnered with DARCC to conduct research into the history of rape crisis centers in the United States.
During the Lunch and Learn, they will share the results of their comprehensive analysis and guide participants through the economic, social, and political factors that helped shape (and progress) rape crisis centers. They will also explore the inclusion and impact of Women of Color and LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout the anti-sexual violence movement.
Register for this exciting event here.
We look forward to seeing you Nov 20!
