February is Black History Month

In commemoration of Black History Month, we honor the strength of Black communities while also recognizing the unique challenges faced by Black survivors of sexual violence.

At DARCC, we are committed to offering free, holistic, and culturally competent care for all survivors, especially Black women.

Kiana Armstrong, LPC, facilitates our Black Female Survivor group, which is a support group specifically for Black women to have a safe space to connect and share their healing journey. Kiana describes the importance of this group in the video below.

If you’re interested in joining the group, request an appointment online or call our 24-hour sexual assault hotline: 972-641-7273.
