DARCC Clinical Services

The DARCC clinical team is highly trained in specialized, trauma-informed care so they can provide the best support for survivors, no matter where they are on their healing journey. It's part of how we deliver The DARCC Difference to survivors every day!

DARCC counseling fellows and licensed staff are trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based, gold standard approach to treating trauma.

  • Practice techniques to manage distress associated with trauma

What are the benefits?

  • Foster a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma

  • Promote healthier, more adaptive ways of coping

  • Enhanced ability to form healthy relationships

  • Reduce common trauma-related symptoms

  • Increased self-compassion

  • Improved ability to manage difficult emotions

Why is it so helpful for survivors of sexual violence?

  • Emphasizes self-determination
