DARCC Welcomes New Intensive Care Counselor
DARCC is proud to announce we have welcomed a new staff member to the team: Marquisha Taylor, LPC.
Marquishia will be delivering a new service for survivors as an Intensive Care Counselor.
The Intensive Care Counselor position is dedicated to providing specialized support for survivors with elevated needs that may stem from complex issues such as housing instability, substance use, or a history of trauma.
This is a critical position that will ensure these survivors have access to the clinical resources they need to heal and thrive. Marquisha brings a wealth of experience to the role and we're excited for her to be a part of The DARCC Difference!
Here are some insights into her background and why she is excited about the role:
”I am a licensed professional counselor with a background in psychiatric hospitals and higher education. I am excited to join such a wonderful and mission-driven organization. I look forward to providing intensive care and assistance to survivors. This is an opportunity for us to add an extra layer of support and services for clients that may benefit from a higher level of care. My hope is that with this new position we will be able to expand our relationship within the community and increase the number of survivors that we support.”
